Wedding photographer Het Gooi — estates and villa settings

Het Gooi is known for its estates, villas and wooded surroundings — a setting that calls for photos with space, light and a sense of class. From Hoogland I’m at Gooi venues in 30-40 minutes; it’s a region I love working in for its combination of nature, stately architecture and open expanse.

Het Gooi wedding venues I know

• Kasteel Groeneveld (Baarn) — a fairy-tale castle with parkland. Early morning hours give the most beautiful light in the main hall.
• Trompenburgh (‘s-Graveland) — a 17th-century country house with a stately garden. Small, intimate, a maximum of ~50 guests for the ceremony.
• Het Spant! (Bussum) — a cultural venue with large spaces for a party. Works well for weddings of 100+ guests.
• Naarden Vesting — a fortified town with unique architecture. The wedding hall is in the town hall, with a photo round along the ramparts.
• Goois Natuurreservaat (Laren / Blaricum) — heathland and woods for portrait sessions. The heather blooms purple in late August.
• Pillows Hotel Bussum — a luxury venue with a modern style, ideal for weddings that want clean architecture.
• Landgoed Boekesteyn (‘s-Graveland) — a historic estate with romantic gardens.

What suits Gooi weddings

Gooi weddings are often a touch grander than urban ones — more guests, careful time planning, ceremonies and parties at separate venues. This calls for a photographer who keeps the overview: knows the schedule, is on the right spot on time, doesn’t get stuck in one room when the group moves on.

My method fits: I work documentary but with clear timeline discipline. We discuss beforehand, hour by hour, where I need to be, I check the venues (in advance where possible), and on the day I safeguard the moments you’ll later find most important — not just the speeches, but the look between father and bride just before them.

Approach and packages

The method is identical to the main wedding photographer page. For Gooi venues (within 50 km of Hoogland) I charge no travel costs as standard.

Packages:

• Half day — €950 — a smaller celebration or partial coverage
• Full day — €1,950 — most Gooi weddings (ceremony + reception + party)
• Long day — €2,850 — the complete storyline from preparations to the end

For weddings with a second-shooter setup or multi-day celebrations (fairly common at estates): we’ll put together a fitting proposal together.
